Udai Working Together Works is proud to launch the Intervention on Wheels initiative – a mobile outreach program dedicated to bringing early intervention and therapeutic services to underprivileged children in underserved areas of Delhi.
This program is rooted in our belief that every child deserves access to quality care, support, and the opportunity to thrive – regardless of their socio-economic background.
📍 Areas Currently Covered
Our mobile intervention team currently operates across three major locations, visiting each area once every week:
Peeragarhi
Vikas Puri
Mangolpuri
These areas have been identified based on need assessments, community feedback, and lack of access to early therapeutic services.
🧑⚕️ Services Provided
During our weekly visits, a team of qualified therapists and special educators travel with the mobile unit to offer the following support:
Individual Assessments – Understanding each child’s developmental and behavioral needs.
Therapeutic Sessions – Including occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavior therapy, and early learning support based on the child’s specific requirements.
Parental Consultation – Guiding and training parents to support their child’s growth at home.
Resource Distribution – Providing worksheets, learning aids, and activity kits to encourage continued development.
Nutritious One-Time Meal – A warm, healthy meal is served to every child we reach during our visit.
🎯 Program Objectives
To reach children with disabilities or developmental delays who otherwise have no access to therapy or special education.
To identify and intervene early, increasing the chances of better long-term outcomes.
To create awareness among parents and local communities about special needs education and support.
To promote health, nutrition, and inclusion alongside therapeutic care.
